From the album: Japanese pens
Another pen I ordered, with free custom engraving, from a (different) seller on Rakuten Global Market back in the day. The inscription on the cap is the second half of a Chinese idiom that means, “it takes ten years for a tree to be fully grown, but a hundred years for a person to develop into his fullness.” This is one of my favourite pens, and the only pen in my pen with a wooden cap and barrel that seals effectively against ink evaporation when capped and unused for several months. The Pilot #10 14K gold F nib on it is excellent.© A Smug Dill

Hi All! I have a Pilot Custom made of maple wood with a really nice grain. However, I would really like to make the wood surface a bit more shiny. I don't want to apply any paint or chemicals, I was just wondering if there's a way to polish it till it looks a bit less dull. thanks, Fabio
