I am thinking about using lubricating ink on a 14k M nib 1911s model and Diamine inks is in my budget. What's your opinion? What about the shimmering inks Diamine offers?

I'm going to replace the diaphragm my vacumatic had when i bought it. it's still in working condition but sometimes when i fill the pen, it.. don't know how to explain.. sticks on itself, and i don't want to trust in something which could be in the pen from decads. Now, i've all the tools i need for the task.. the only thing i'm missing is the "vacumatic lubricant" i've read of on various sources. Can someone tells me what kind of lubricant i need? I can assume silicon grease don't fit the situation

If like me, you're UK based, and are missing certain qualities from Noodler's inks then I'm interested to know how you feel. I just paid a small fortune to get some lubricated ink yesterday, as it invariably has to come from abroad. We have our own, home grown and chromatically innovative Diamine up in Liverpool, and I want to press them to be more creative in this regard. Virtually everyone would benefit as Nathan is having a hard time keeping up, and Diamine already have so many admirers worldwide.
