I have used 3 pens for this review my beautiful De Atramentis glass and dip pens.... and a Kaweco calligraphy pen What I can say in advance is.....Konrad should do this work professionally. This ink too, is well behaving and quite wet but quickly drying. To make it easy on the people who are not interested in some Polish history, I will insert the basic parts first. So that you can get a good Idea of this ink and then move on to another topic After that I will add in some writing samples great to experience more about the beauty of this ik and learn a bit about beautiful Poland at the same time http://i1286.photobucket.com/albums/a617/Morbus_Curiositas/KWZI%20ORANGE/Scan_Pic0005_zpst1ubsbzc.jpg Very nice bright orange colour This ink is well behaving as far as I can judge from the use in Glass and Dip pens....On the other hand especially dip pens can be scratchy.... This ink makes even these pens smooth http://i1286.photobucket.com/albums/a617/Morbus_Curiositas/KWZI%20ORANGE/KWZI%20ORANGE%20SAMPLER_zpsrgozbvta.jpg Down here are some of the technical specs (as suggested by Ann Finley 2007) (not copied in but for this ink) points 1-5 1 = 5= Fountain Pens: De Atramentis Glass Pen Raven Fine, De Atramentis Brause Pen and Kaeco calligraphy 1,5 italic Paper: Vleveka Classic Line Paperand ordinary copying paper Drying time: 5 seconds nib points 5 Flow: very smooth even in both the cheap and potenitally scratchy Dip Pens points: 5 Lubrication: medium wet points: 3 Feathering : None points 5 Bleeding: nada points 5 Showthrough: little pouínts 4 Shading: medium points: 3 Waterproof: little points: 2 Package: Can't judge (test sample) Availabilty: This can be a bit of a problem I belive it is only available at King Konrad's Castle... Here is his profile...write him an E-mail... http://www.fountainp...ser/73443-kwzi/ http://i1286.photobucket.com/albums/a617/Morbus_Curiositas/KWZI%20ORANGE/Scan_Pic0012_zps6cmdjhxm.jpg Well that is very little showthrough on this low quality paper that is better suited for wiping your buttocks Writing Samples Marsz Marsz Dabrowski... Poland is not yet Lost......... (And never will be ) http://i1286.photobucket.com/albums/a617/Morbus_Curiositas/KWZI%20ORANGE/download_zpsx8mhngee.jpg General Dabrowski http://i1286.photobucket.com/albums/a617/Morbus_Curiositas/KWZI%20ORANGE/KWZI%20ORANGE%20DABRO%20FAT_zpsc38f94wv.jpg The pen used is a Kaweco Calligraphy 1,5 nib Quite some shading there http://i1286.photobucket.com/albums/a617/Morbus_Curiositas/KWZI%20ORANGE/KWZI%20Orange%20Dabro%20thin_zpsa5bojpoi.jpg De Atramentis Glass Pen Raven Do you see ANY feathering??? Maybe I need new spectacles....but I Don't A bit of explanation on the national Anthem and general Dabrowski http://i1286.photobucket.com/albums/a617/Morbus_Curiositas/KWZI%20ORANGE/Pland%202%20partition%20and%202day_zpszngfxfb2.jpg Poland after the second Partition against which General Dabrowski so firecly battled and Polan today http://i1286.photobucket.com/albums/a617/Morbus_Curiositas/KWZI%20ORANGE/Scan_Pic0011_zpsuybxxfha.jpg NIce Ink Or What!!!! Verdict Although I am not a great fan of these bright colours I guess as A Dutchman I need to buy this KWZI ink too .... . It is not that deeply saturated and shading is medium... But it behaves very well and dries quickly.... I Will buy a bottle to highlight my texts when needed.... Will have to wait till I have tested all the samples though.... The Colour is a nice bright Orange not very waterproof but almost no showthrough..... If it wasn't for the colour it is a winner Regards, Peter
