After @K Singh's post on the Woodex 63, I placed an order for three pens, and they arrived a few days back. I used Model 2 at office, while models 62 and 63 were at home. The model 2 (ED mode only) came with a Kanwrite M nib with an ebonite feed (not Kanwrite). It wrote well, but the smoothness could be better, so I tuned it for better flow and smoothness. The model 62 ("3 in 1") came with an Ambitious 40 M nib unit, with a plastic feed, I have been using this without any tuning. The model 63 (ED mode only) came with an Ambitious 40 M nib and an ebonite feed, I smoothed the nib as I found it to be a bit on the scratchy side for my liking. See the pics below. I liked the clips on models 2 and 62 more than the one on model 63. If I had to choose one, it has to be the model 62 for me. It is large but light on it's feet and athletic like a sumo wrestler. The model 63 is also good, my guess is that I will not pick it up very often. It think it is slightly back-weighted. Model 2 has been an eternal favorite for me, it is light and is great for long hours of writing. I owned and used some version of this pen, starting with the Deccan Advocate from many years ago. The model 62 is being used with a converter. Although not overtly wet (which I prefer), it lays down an adequate quantity of ink.

Changing PenBBS Model 267 nib to Kanwrite No. 6 nib
Lora posted a topic in India & Subcontinent (Asia)
I am considering changing the nib of PenBBS Model 267 pen to a Kanwrite No. 6 nib. I love the balance of the pen, it never leaked in eyedropper mode, no hard starts so far (I haven't left it unused for more than 4 days). I find the nib too dry for my preference and I would like to change it with a Kanwrite nib. I also like the smoothness and the feedback of the Kanwrite nib I have used better. I read that - No. 6 nibs can be too long for the cap of some PenBBS pen models, resulting in the nib hitting the cap and possibly getting deformed/damaged over time. I would love to avoid that and if the new nib will be too long, I may give up the change and use it in another pen. - Are there other ways to increase the ink flow while using the same nib? - Can anyone share experiences with this model? - PenBBS feeds are somewhat brittle and may get chipped / broken while being taken out. To prevent this from happening, I read that I should try to slide the nib out of the section and then take the feed out. I assume the assembly would be in reverse order. - PenBBS feeds have very narrow channel allowing for a light ink flow, resulting in a dry nib. I.e. the feed could be the source of the problem, not the nib. I don't know how to determine this. As I've never replaced a friction-fit nib, neither have I disassembled a nib section before, I assume I have a good chance to break the feed. If I manage to take out the feed, broken or not, I will be able to take and share pictures of the feed and also measure it and share the measurements. Would this information be sufficient to get recommendations of what feed to replace it with, in case I decide to go for a non-PenBBS feed? How easy is it to replace feeds between manufacturers? Apart from the pen manufacturer, where can one buy feeds from? Any comments and suggestions will be appreciated. -
