Shake the bottle till you can't see any gold at the bottom, and then quikly fill your pen. This is the best was to get a good amount of gold in your pen. Many people only use these inks in their cheaper pens, because of the particles. I could clean the Stormy Grey pretty easily, but I haven't tried to clean the Chivor yet. So, even though I had no issues, please use these inks carefully.
