Dear Fountain Pen and related writing instruments lovers living in Lima: I will very soon be moving from Santiago and I am very keen to find out how intense is the fountain pen activity in the city wich will be my home for several years. Please let me know what should I expect, if there are any clubs, informal or formal meeting groups, etc. Worst case scenario, if the fountain pen life in Lima is not as alive as it should be ¡lets start a group ourselves! Please let me know not only if you have any info, but also if you have any interest in starting something, what pens do you have, wich ones would you like to have, what inks do you use, what paper and ink brands can one find in Lima (in Santiago you only find Rhodia and Clairefontaine if you are veeery lucky and have bucks to spend. No Tomoe River in this city. And when it comes to inks, there is a little more since the penshop.cl site started: R&K, Lamy, J. Herbin, Sailor [only the Storia line], some Kaweco, some Parker, some Montblanc), wich places should I check out first upon my arrival, etc. Most Kind Regards to everybody. Juan, A.K.A. Tintafuego
