I found this corroded but interesting empty bottle of Parker SuperChrome ink in a local thrift store. Is this the ink that caused damage to pens? Looks like something did damage to the lid.

First of all, I've gained Rishi's (T2MR guy) permission to post this video here. As he is very busy with his work, I am sharing this link here. Glare India, after successfully launching Glare Pens, have come up with the Glare Inks. They come in not just a handful, but 15 different ink colors. You can view all of them in the following video: Now, these inks seem to be of fairly high quality as the flow and ink saturation both look very good. They come in plastic bottles (something i don't prefer, and can see the reasons why plastic bottles is the future) and carry 60 mls of ink. Also, the quality (of the bottle) looks better than that of Krishna Inks. I will order the New Ochre bottle from their ebay store (for Rs.250 i.e. $4) and hope it would not disappoint me. I've talked personally to Rishi, and he seems to be fairly impressed by the inks. And finally - This video is a proof of the hardwork that this guy puts in his every video. His mobile review videos are bringing him a lot of notice (and subscribers). And i hope he doesn't stop reviewing fountain pens. We need people like him to review fountain pens related stuff.

Not sure this is the right forum, so please redirect me if I'm wrong. Here's my problem. I'm having a midlife crisis and buying an RV that I'll be living in full time. I plan to travel across the US, Canada and the Baja. I have sold most of my stuff (no pens or inks though😄). I have an ink obsession, about 50 bottles, along with 100s of ink samples. I use the Goulet vial holders, so no problem there. But I can't figure out the best way to carry the ink bottles. I don't keep the boxes btw. I want access to all of the inks fairly easily. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've thought of tool boxes and tackle boxes but haven't found anything. Tried various plastic boxes from Staples, but nothing really space efficient. Thanks, Kathy

These superb quality bottles don't need any introduction to FPN members and we're delighted to be stocking them. We'll have 30ml and 60ml sizes in stock very soon. http://www.justwrite.com.au/nalgene-15ml-ink-carry-bottle-amber/ I should add that is $AUD2.20 ... about $USD1.73 and the Amber are more expensive than the regular translucent.

A while back I participated in an ink buy for P.W. Akkerman, one of the bottles I received did not come with a marble or ball that allows the ink to stay at the top of the bottle. I was told that a marble would be forwarded to me but that was about 2 months ago, and I realize that nothing more will be forwarded to me, so my question is simple; if I get a marble and insert in the bottle, will it allow the ink to stay at the top of the bottle for the intended result? If so, what kind of marble should I be looking for, standard or what? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey guys, I'm going to China for a few months this coming year, and I can only take one suitcase and one carryon with me. I cannot, for obvious reasons, be without my trusty Lamy Safari for this long, and so how best to transport it? Is it safe to bring it filled onto the plane with me, so I can write during that 12 hour plane ride? Or will it get ink everywhere? Can I write with it while airborne, or will the air pressure make it go all wonky? Also, how do I travel with ink safely? How do you guys deal with planes and pens? Whats the best way to pack them? Thank you!
