I got this Lamy Studio glossy rose at Appelboom. I had the matte version with a steel nib. The rose tone is a bit too pale. So I decided to go for the glossy one too. Today I got it and it is the exact same rose tone as the matte one, only glossy. The shine somehow makes it better, plus the nib writes beautifully. I am happy I bought it. Looking around the internet I could not find any other information or reviews of this pen, not even at this forum. Also, it wasn't for sale anywhere else but Appelboom. Lamy is one of my favorite fountain pen brands, so since it seems there is no information about this glossy rose Lamy I wanted to share a couple of pictures of them.

Hi Everyone, I'm thinking about getting my first Indian ebonite pen and the Gama Eyas seems perfect for me. The only problem is that I want the glossy finish instead of the matte black. AsaPens only has the latter, so where online can I order the glossy version? Thanks for any suggestions!

What Kind Of Paper Is Used For (Glossy) Pamphlets?
proton007 posted a topic in Paper and Pen Paraphernalia
I tried writing on the back of a glossy pamphlet I found in my mailbox. The results were surprisingly good. The nib just glides like butter, and the ink shows excellent color and shading. (Whether or not it's smudge proof I haven't determined yet.) There were no starting issues generally attributed to a lack of capillary action, and the ink was absorbed readily into the paper. However, a search on this forum revealed the experience with glossy printer paper tends to be mixed. So what kind of paper is being used for these pamphlets?
