Quick question about the modern Parker Premier series. If I were to take a section (including feed and nib) from a Premier fountain pen and put it on the barrel of a rollerball, would the rollerball cap close? Asking because I have an extra fountain pen section/feed/nib that writes very nicely, and thinking about buying a rollerball and putting the fountain pen section etc on the rollerball cap and barrrel. Would that work? Is there a less expensive way to turn that Premier nib unit into a working pen? I've done this with Sonnets and it's worked just fine, but I don't have a Premier rollerball anywhere near me to check. Wondering if I'm about to make a $100 mistake by buying the rollerball to use its cap and barrel with a FP section.
