Faber Castell Turquoise This is a very wet, light blue /turquoise by Faber-Castell, a shading monster decent water resistance, cheap price, with a hint of sheen. Photo: On Midori under artificial light you might see a hint of reddish sheen. Comparison: Water test: Art Work: "Paradise" Beside FC Turquoise, Noodler's Lexington Gray and Eel Red Rattler's Red · Pens used: Pilot Kakuno Ef, Lamy (EF/F/M/B, 1.1), Noodler’s Ahab · What I liked: Makes Kakuno Ef sing, price, though Noodler’s is still cheaper · What I did not like: Nothing much. Very difficult to a photograph. · What some might not like: It does not like copy paper, it’s very wet · Shading: Yes, even on copy paper. · Ghosting: Yes, on cheap paper. · Bleed through: Yes, on cheap paper. · Flow Rate: Very wet · Lubrication: Excellent · Nib Dry-out: Did not notice. · Start-up: Excellent · Saturation: Not so much. · Shading Potential: Strong · Sheen: A hint · Spread / Feathering / Woolly Line: Yes, on copy paper · Nib Creep / “Crud”: Did not notice. · Staining (pen): No. · Clogging: Did not notice. · Cleaning: On the easy side · Water resistance: Quite decent · Availability: 30 ml Pelikan style bottles.
