I did a search on the forum and found a US, British and South Korean ink (sample) exchange, but nothing that covers my neck of the woods (well, at least not in the 10 pages of results my search returned). I see pictures and read descriptions of inks pretty much daily. Many of them leave me curious about how they are in the analog world. Unfortunately, many of these inks (e.g. Noodlers) are not available here and I simply don't have the budget to buy every ink I'd like to try. I really can't imagine I'm the only one with this problem, so I'd like to know if there are other folks here that would be interested in swapping ink samples. Myself, I'm interested in both samples to use and samples of real world usage of an ink (as the latter would seriously reduce mail costs, sending a small package abroad is almost as expensive as a 80ml bottle of Diamine here in the Netherlands. I was thinking about maybe creating some kind of template/form that participants can print out and fill in with the ink in question, so you always know what to expect). My (fairly limited) collection of inks consists of: Diamine Emerald Diamine Red Dragon Diamine Royal Blue J. Herbin Eclat de Saphir J. Herbin Orange Indien J. Herbin Poussiere de Lune J. Herbin Rouge Bourgogne Hero 232 Blue-black (iron-gall) Pelikan 4001 Brilliant black Rohrer & Klingner Blu Mare Rohrer & Klingner Helianthus Rohrer & Klingner Magenta Sailor Jentle Blue-black So, anyone interested in something like this?

Hi Everyone, I have been reading this forum for awhile. I can find great reviews here for what I am really grateful. This time however I have an issue I need help with. My 1st ever fountain pen was a Rotring ArtPen EF nib. Recently the cap falls off & due to its "outfit" I cannot use at everyday's work - on the other hand I really-really love its nib (no wonder - I used it 8+ years only! for writing). Could you please support me what is the size of the nib, or with which pens I could exchange the nib? I tried several EF pens to substitute this nib (Pilot, Hero, Parker) but no luck yet - so it would be great if I could use this one. Thank you pszabi

Hello, I just recently got into fountain pens after finding a set of p51's at a thrift store. I've recently purchased several vintage Parkes from ebay. After using pens with different size nibs. I find I like fine and xf. (I do a lot of math.) I've been trying to buy replacement mins buy frequently they are more expensive than the pen... Especially the 45's. Through this forum I've found the nib exchange program and had some questions. 1.) do they really swap vintage nibs, speciffically 51 and 45? 2.) how long does it normally take to complete the exchange? 3.) if your nib is found to be in less than ideal condition how much does it typically cost? 4.) will they exchange converters? I have some squeeze converters, but like the more modern piston ones. (if not any ideas on how to do this?) Thanks. In advance!

Hello everyone, I am looking for an exchange nib for my Meisterstück 72. The fountain pen was manufactured in the 60s. I have already contacted the Monteblanc customer service, but they told me that they do not produce nibs for such an old pen and that they cannot help me at all. Does anyone know a fitting nib of another pen model or from another brand? It does not need to be a gold nib. Thanks, Markus

Hosting An Epic Ink Swap!
OdinsMusings posted a topic in Pay It Forward, Loaner Programs & Group Buys
I am celebrating 500 subs on YouTube and I have decided to host an ink swap! I would like to trade with ten people a selection of ink samples. Each person will receive from me: Three random samples from my collectionOne Hero 616And one piece of Resin jewelry that has fountain pen ink inside. You can either PM me or email me with: A postal addressA few favorite colorsIf you would like to participate in the secondary swapRules of the Secondary Swap: I will email everyone who has decided to participate with a list of email addresses of every other Secondary Swap participant. It is up to you guys to confer with each other and decide who you would like to talk to and swap with. I will not be monitoring this, so be sure you feel comfortable giving out information at your own discretion. If you do not answer whether or not you want to participate, I will automatically assume you DO NOT want to participate. I wanted to do this instead of a typical giveaway, to get more people in the fountain pen community talking with each other and sharing inks. I have posted a YouTube video illustrating the rules as well: https://youtu.be/XC9XhA_ddto -
Hello! Is there a section of the forum where people offer spare parts of pens like extra nibs, clips, etc. and where we can post our request to the other members of the community?

I've slowly been discovering fountain pen users one by one here in South Korea and I was wondering if there was any interest in exchanging ink samples/supplies/etc among those of us in the country. Ink sample vials can be easily purchased on Gmarket and shipping should be fairly cheap. Of course if you live in the same city, you can exchange in person. Anyone interested?

This thread is for GouletPens.com Ink Drop subscribers to exchange inks between themselves. I dip tested all 5 of the Chocolates from this month and ended up liking the Diamine Rustic Brown and have used most of it so I am keeping it but the other four are full since I only dipped a clean pen into each to try a few sentences. The four available are: Noodler's Polar Brown, Pilot Iroshizuko Ina-Ho, Pelikan Brown, and Pelican Absolute Brown. What I am interested in is: Blacks, Blues, Purples, Reds, and Diamine Rustic Brown. If you have a full bottle of Diamine Rustic Brown and could part with a couple sample size goulet vials worth or even the entire bottle if you bought it and don't like it and would be interested in trading that for the four samples that would be preferred.

Let me preface this by saying that I have no idea if this is the correct forum to post this in, but none of the others seemed to fit exactly. I recently received a gift card for Levenger Pens, worth $75. I want to use this to buy a pen, but Levenger does not carry any of the brands I prefer. For those who do enjoy the products sold at Levenger's site, I wondered if you would like to swap a gift card for a website I can use, mainly gouletpens.com or nibs.com, for the levenger gift card I have. Or even if you do not have a gift card for those places and are simply looking to buy something from Levenger's, I would much appreciate it if we could arrange for you to purchase a card from one of those sites in exchange for the Levenger card, just to help me out. I know that this is an odd request, but I would very much appreciate it if anybody could help me out here. I don't want to waste $75 on a pen I do not need.
