Here I go with another cheap pen. This one was a free pen tossed in with an order from flea-bay. My first thought was "Wow, something else to throw in the trash." EVERYTHING about this pen screams "Cheap!", except the nib. It looks to be the same iridium tip from the 717 piston fillers. Screwing off the body revealed a syringe filler, not very common in my experience outside of some 1970's Russian pens. Does not hold much ink, but worked well and will shoot water very far from the nib. The cap, section, body, plugs and feed appear injection molded with little finishing done after that. The clip is stamped but seems to function well. Every part looks mass produced for as little as possible, except the nib. I expected something like Reynolds uses, a thin stamping with the end twisted. This nib looks almost out of place, far superior to any other part and iridium tipped. I seem mostly lucky with cheap pens, but maybe I don't expect much if they write smoothly. I'd appreciate if anyone can give me an actual price and location to get another! Paul
