Hi fountain pen lovers. The pen geeks in Denmark seem woefully underserved so, to see if there's interest in meeting likeminded people, there is now a Meetup to join in (otherwise wonderful) Copenhagen: http://meetu.ps/c/4klJM/dL0cj/f So, for all who might be interested in meeting and nerding out on fountain pens in Copenhagen, you are welcome to join. Zinklar Zinglersen & Co was the first Company in Denmark (c. 1922) to make fountain pens. Before that time all fountain pens were imported mostly from Germany, USA and UK. Brand names were: Tete Rouge, Dana-pennen, Absalon, Mount Everest and ZZ. The pens were safety fillers and button fillers in black hard rubber and the quality is exceptional good. Tete Rouge (english: redtop) was much inspired by Montblanc´s Rouge et Noir.

Denmark - country for the Coral red pens. Red is the national colour of Denmark and the coral red pens are unique to this country. This Wahl, Gold Seal & Personal Point in red was made especially for the danish market. Over the years I had one or two Deco Bands in red as well as Equipoised (standard seize). But I never seen this one before!
