Ingolf got a Delta Dolcevita Stantuffo Oro a few days ago and wrote a nice mini-review of this wonderful pen. I have been shopping these pens for a short while, and with Ingolf's very positive reaction and the concurrence of several other FPN members, I pulled the trigger. The model I ordered has gold-plated hardware and a Fusion stub nib. Do you still call it "buyer's remorse" when you wonder why you waiting so long to buy an item? The ink is the Delta blue ink that came with the pen. Paper is Rhodia 5X5. This stub nib/paper/ink combination writes like a crisp cursive italic in terms of line differentiation, yet it is smooth enough for easy American cursive script. Blind Cap unscrewed, revealing the piston knob. The Delta Fusion Stub nib I'm already shopping for a model with a 14K or 18K stub. One must have this to conduct a good assessment of the Fusion nib, after all. The sacrifices one makes in the interest of scientific validity. David
