I was wondering whether anyone else has been having the same issue I have been having with my Delta Dolcevita. It seems to be leaking from the fusion nib. Thought it was leaking from the body of the fountain pen, but it is actually leaking from the fusion nib itself. Has anyone else been experiencing this issue? What have you done to fix it?

I am puzzled by my most recent purchase. I acquired a number of Delta piston filler and I am very pleased with the nib, balance etc... but that's not the point. Recently I bought a Delta Dolcevita Oro Oversize but what I got is actually shorter (half centimeter) than the Oro Piston filler I already own. I was expecting the opposite. I contemplated the possibility to just have gotten the a medium (C/C) by mistake, but actually everything fits the Oversize description: it has the huge number 8 nib, ostensibly bigger than the nib on the Piston filler, and it has a wider diameter. Is that possible? What did I get wrong? For sure Delta was able to put together a confusing product line, I see from past threads that this kind of confusion is not unheard of.

Greetings all, During the LA pen show, the Delta Dolcevita caught my eye. I liked the oversize, the orange and black with sterling trim was beautiful. but couldn't quite swing a deal. So since then, I have been looking and stalking but not really expecting to actually get one, and I was right, I didn't get a Dolcevita, I got a Colosseum! and at a very reasonable price. Came without box or papers, but since I wanted a pen, not a box, that was OK. Specs: Limited series of 1926 Ancient Pompeiin motif Hand-turned acrylic resin body Sterling Silver trim 18kt gold two tone nib 147mm capped, 15.5 diameter The pen is in great cosmetic shape and the sac functional. It has a little flow issue, what I call a slow starter, but before I do anything I will just use it and see how it works after a decent "run in " period. The nib is smooth, a little wide for my taste, but can always be changed later.
