  1. Hello, We are writing to inform you of the service of our Chinese lacquer workshop. Our workshop named "Zhizhai". Our lacquer workshop in Guangdong that introduces traditional Chinese lacquer techniques. At the end of this year, we plan to have a fun project for fountain pen lovers. We are professional lacquer ware craftsmen. Our main works are lacquer ware and furniture, interiors of hotels and luxury cars. From time to time, at the request of a friend, I apply natural lacquer to their private fountain pen. We don't know how to use this site at all. Should I write in this comment section if I have an event for this fountain pen lover? If you know how to effectively inform us of an event, please let us know. We started Instagram with the help of Japanese friends because of internet regulations in China. Because Chinese lacquer techniques are little known in the world. In the future, we will post many rare Chinese traditional patterns on Instagram. And although they are mainly samples of authentic lacquer ware, we can express the pattern with a fountain pen. This is our Instagram account. @zhizhai_lacquer This is our website. We have prepared a basic knowledge page for real lacquer. Chinese lacquer culture uses so many colors, all of which are real lacquer. https://www.zhizhai.shop/ We look forward to your support and advice. Thank you very much for your interest in lacquer culture. Zhizhai Xiao Guan

    Sheaffer Craftsman Ii Repair

How do I go about repairing this Craftsman? I managed to easily take out the nib unit, but am stuck on taking out the packing at the base of the barrel. Also, what parts would I need to make it function again?

    Recommended J-Bar Size?

Hello, I have a couple of lever fill Sheaffers coming in the mail (a 350 and a Craftsman) and am wondering what J-bar size is recommended, should I need to replace ones I find in them? I have a couple of 54mm J-bars but am wondering if I'd need something larger like a 62mm. I did a search and couldn't find exact answers, and so thought I'd just ask the forum. Thanks.
  5. - Master of the order-made notebooks (Kakimori) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMH5k0G_gVI Kakimori is a small stationery shop nestled in Tokyo's Kuramae neighbourhood which has been pleasing customers over the course of three generations. You might find yourself falling in love with the art of writing again after a visit to this specialist stationery shop. Kakimori's range of pens, inks and letter sets are chosen on the basis of how comfortable they are to use, and customers are welcome to try out the fountain pens before making a purchase. Best of all are the order-made notebooks, prepared in 5-10 minutes and with an infinitely customisable selection of covers, paper and bindings available - most of them locally produced, for added "Made in Asakusa" effect. Had One Sheaffer... Now Four :d

Got three more Sheaffer pens today. 1951 Touchdown Admiral in Evergreen Green with a Feather Touch Nib (14K Gold + Platinum Plating) 1947-1949 Craftman in Persian Blue with a Sheafer #33 14K Nib Late 60s/Early 70s Student Pen with a "F" Steel Nib, using it eye-dropper style with Noodler's Upper Ganges Blue 1953 Snorkel Admiral in Black with a Medium 14K Gold Nib. The Touchdown and Snorkel were completely restored by Sean Nicholson (The Touchdown was sold to me by him). The Craftman I won off ebay has been polished and replaced with a new sac (and Talc'd... not sure why that's needed). The Student Pen came along for the ride with the Touchdown. (It's actually much smoother than I expected, though not quite "fine" on the line width, the craftsman writes finer, with the touchdown being the finest. ). http://static.karlblessing.com/pens/sheaffer/group.jpg
