Announcing the quarterly meeting of the Honolulu Fountain Pen Club. As usual we'll meet just outside of the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in the Mānoa Marketplace, at Noon on As usual, look for people with lots of pens, and ink-stained fingers. There is no membership fee. You might want to bring a fold-up chair in case we have many people show up. We usually do a round robin of new acquisitions (highlighting a pen or two... or paper or the like). You can get a tea of coffee at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. We usually head home after two hours at most. Locals and visitors alike are welcome. If you live on a neighbor island and want to attend over Zoom, please contact @HDoug as he operates our Zoom team.

    East Texas Pen Club

Hi, I am justin and I am from a small town called leesburg Texas, I have formed a pen club for individuals from around the area. Called the East Texas Pen Club if anyone is interested, we would love to have several new members. We meet on the first Saturday of every month in Longview, although this one is being rescheduled due to the severe weather we had. You can message me or you can find us on Facebook if you would like some more information. As I said we are new and have only had one meeting so far. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1073648183520263/?ref=share_group_link
  3. I'm aware that there was/is a club in the Pheonix area but haven't seen any activity on this board for several years. I'm located in Buckeye, about 40 minutes from central Phoenix. I would love to start/restart or otherwise arrange a regular gathering for enthusiasts in this area. Any Interest? Mike S.

    Fountain Pen Club In Nyc

There is a get-together of fountain pen enthusiasts in NYC this & every last Saturday of the month at 6PM at a store called "Goods for the Study" in SOHO at 234 Mulberry St. New York, NY. Their phone number is (212)219-2789. Sorry for the late notice this month but hopefully someone will be interested next month. Today will be the first time I'm going & I'm a little intimidated that everyone there will have collector's pieces & I don't. Wish me luck!
  5. Hi everyone! February's pen club will meet at the Panera in Aspinwall (942 Freeport Rd). I hope to see you all there on February 19, starting at 6PM (roughly). Joshua Sasmor
  6. I would love to find more info on this pen I bought years ago. It’s a good-sized blue 1920’s-ish FP with a 14k gold nib, the FORD logo on the clip, and “Harry Richman Club” stamped in orange or red on the barrel. Only recently I saw a pen like this on eBay but without the Richman stamp. Harry Richman was a singer/actor who sang the famous song “Putting on the Ritz” and owned his own namesake club in NYC for a time in the 20’s/30’s. I would love to know the connection between FORD and Richman and any estimated worth or value. Thanks! Scott
  7. Hello everyone! The Central Penn Pens group will meet again to celebrate the arrival of Autumn. The various pen shows have changed your pen collections, so bring along what you have to show and trade. And be prepared to trade ink. Many of you are now familiar with the venue for showing and sharing your pen hobby. So, let’s just relax in the back room of the Café Fresco, that local eatery where we’ve been meeting on and off for over ten years. The next meeting of the Central Penn Pens group will take place on Saturday, 21st of September at 1:00pm. This location just east of Harrisburg is like the hub of a spoked wheel of major roads, making easy to get to via I-81, I-78, I-83, I-76 (Pa Turnpike), US 15&11 and US 322. Cafe Fresco 3352 Paxton StHarrisburg, PA 17111 Those of you who've been here before know we pile the tables with pen collections to show, with the opportunity to trade. Then there's the ink swap to try new shades that you would never consider buying before, and without spending a dime. Your unwanted ink is another writer’s treasure, so bring those dusty bottles along. We’ll also have the Goodie Box, a place to put your orphan pen items that simply clutter your desk at home, but others will be glad to have them. We hope to have a presentation. Watch this space for more information and updates. Please contact me via PM with ideas, offers and questions, or to put your name on the email list. Fred

  9. Hi fountain pen lovers. The pen geeks in Denmark seem woefully underserved so, to see if there's interest in meeting likeminded people, there is now a Meetup to join in (otherwise wonderful) Copenhagen: http://meetu.ps/c/4klJM/dL0cj/f So, for all who might be interested in meeting and nerding out on fountain pens in Copenhagen, you are welcome to join. Teo

  12. Hey everyone ! I create this topic to be able to find any informations or to reunite fountain pens fans in France. For now I really didn't see anyone very active so if you have any info or ideas to create a special events (for example the Pelikan hub etc...) feel free to share.
  13. I'm looking to find Fountain Pen users in the Central Illinois Area. It's not always convenient to travel to Chicago Land, St. Louis, Mo, or Indianapolis, IN to meet other pen lovers and fans. I know there are folks out there who use and collect fountain pens, I've either met or talked with at other events. My focus on collecting and using has been all over the various brands of pens from the US, and around the world, however the last few years I have focus'd primarily on using rather than collecting. I'm seeking others who are interested in sharing their loving interest in this medium of communication. Either on a personal correspondence (penpals) or in the possibility of forming a group to meet either on a regular basis or on a mutually agreed upon schedule to fit everyone's favor. My most recent collecting has been focus'd on Pelikan pens. I am aware of a group called Central Illinois Pen Club that had at one time been meeting in Champaign/Urbana. My personal interest would be more towards a group that would meet in places on a rotating basis giving every one the opportunity to have a meeting in their area so the travel time and expense is shared by the entire group. All meetings to be in public areas unless otherwise agreed upon. If you are interested in something along these lines, let's give it a go, at least to discuss the possibilities. Or any other feasible opportunities mutually agreed upon. There are also various types of "Chat-rooms" available for meetings.
  14. It's a new year, and a new start! So if you got a pen/ink/paper related holiday present (even from yourself), come to the January meeting on Wednesday January 17, 7:00 PM at the Panera in Bakery Square, and show it off! I look forward to seeing you there! Joshua Sasmor

  17. Pittsburgh - since August first was a Tuesday, that means the third Wednesday is early in the month! The tentative date for the Pittsburgh pen club meeting is the 16th, and we're going to be at the Bakery Square Panera at 7PM again. I hope to see you all then! Joshua Sasmor
  18. Hey everyone! So, I was wondering if there is anyone in Indiana that might want to meet up for a pen club or something like that? I'm in Bloomington, southern Indiana, close to Indianapolis. If there's already a thread on this I apologize...the threads I've seen seem pretty ancient so I thought I'd start a new one and see who's interested -Hikari
  19. The next meeting of the Pittsburgh Pen club will be April 20 (the week after Easter) at Fourth Presbyterian Church - 5450 Friendship Ave. in Pittsburgh. A big thank you to Eric Amundson for arranging this venue. There is parking in front of the Montessori school on Friendship on the opposite side of the street from the church. I hope to see you all there around 7PM on the 20th! Joshua Sasmor
  20. Hello all! I was wondering if there is any interest from those of you in Nottingham or nearby for meeting up and having a look at some of our pens, inks, etc.? Good opportunity to meet someone new, and for me to see some different pens etc. ;-) Maybe a pub somewhere? I'm Beeston-way and am happy to propose some dates and venues if anyone is keen.
