Do you have a favorite place to go for your guide sheets when practicing calligraphy? I find that the ones in the books never seem to be 'right', and you have to rip them out, etc. I found a couple of websites that generate guide sheets (and/or graph paper) in pdf form that I can then print. I wanted to share this website that provides the best website generator I have run across: http://www.allunderone.org/calligraphy2/calligraphy.php It allows me to control every aspect of the guidelines: nib width, vertical line angle, ascender height, capital height, x height, descender.....the gamut. It allows you to print either landscape or portrait, US or A4.....I could go on. If you are a beginner like me and you need guidesheets, try this generator out.
