    hello good people. i am a big fan of large no.9 nibs and to be able to make nice "voluptuous" line variations but are there any budget pens out there which offer a no.9 nib? are there any chinese manufactures who offer a nib bigger than no.6? please advise. i dont have money to fork up for a m1000 or a montagrappa or a visconti. should change my handle to "poorpenman" haha

    Hello everyone . I do like photography and my main interest revolves around Macro photography ( Insects ) . I hope to share pictures of my budget pens ( Mainly Chinese fountain pens + a few others ) . The plan is to do some reviews , and to that end one needs decent product images . So hopefully I will get my act together for when I am ready to do reviews ( not to long in the future ) I hope you enjoy the images ... old4570 Cameras : Pentax K10D with Pentax A 50mm F2.8 1:2 Macro lens with drinky cup flash . Pentax K20D with Pentax K100mm F4 1:2 Macro lens wit ha 50mm lens reversed in front for 2:1 Macro with a drinky cup flash with a tissue to diffuse light . ( NIB Shots ) Drinky cup flash = Was developed to put light where needed on a budget . It is important in macro to put light at the focus point in front of the lens . The main purpose of the drinky cup flash was to cater for my shorter 50mm lenses ( Macro ) , as most flashes will push light over the top of the subject .
