Greetings everyone! I would like to introduce myself. Please call me Pac. I am a PhD student based in Bangkok, Thailand. I also co-founded a Thai writing instrument website as well. I quietly following the community for a while and decided to jumped on board as a member just last night. Although I have few pens in my collection for several years, I considered myself as a newbie for this hobby. Looking forward to read and share some of my 2 cents with the community.

Is there anyone here on FPN from/in Bangkok, Thailand, and interested in a meet-up of some sort? I'm aware of a Thailand-based facebook group, but it's quite inactive.

Wow, what a discovery. While visiting Bangkok in March 2017 i could not believe my eyes. I discovered a newly opened fountain pen shop. It is run by a very knowledgeable, very friendly and very helpful man - Khun Em. You will find a respectable selection of fountain pens, note books (yes, he has got Tomoe River note books by Taroko Design). I stopped by twice for ink, note books and a chat. And the shop is incredibly easy to find, It is a mere 2 minutes walk from the BTS station "Sala Daeng". The shop's name is "The PIPS Cafe". Address: The PIPS Cafe Ground Floor 62 Thaniya Building Silom Road Bangkok 10500 when arriving by BTS train from the station "Siam" you will need to go down one level and take the exit on the right. Monday - Saturday 11.00 - 19.30 thepipscafe@hotmail.com www.thepipscafe.bentoweb.com www.facebook.com/thepipscafe Go there! Cheers, PENaltyPEN .

Is There Any Fountain Pen Repair Or Vintage Fountain Pen Shop In Bangkok, Thailand?
varoonv posted a topic in Repair Q&A
Hello guys, This is my first time here at FPN. Just entered this fountain pen world a few months ago. I'm looking for a repair shop and vintage fountain pen shop in Bangkok, Thailand. Thanks a lot. -
So I was looking for the "address" in the directory of the Parker pen section within the department store when I found this articles: http://www.bangkokpost.com/print/276248/ I'm wondering, whatever happened to the shop in question? I've never seen it before, and am wondering if it's been closed. Could anyone based in Thailand help me with this? Thanks in advance! Hello everybody! I'm from Bangkok, Thailand and have a passion for modern fountain pens. So far, I've got a modest collection of 2 Parker Premiers, a Sonnet, a Sheaffer 100 and a Lamy Safari. Since I've started this hobby, writing both at school and at home has been an immense pleasure, although I'm working on my handwriting, since it is clearly subpar to most of yours here! Looking forward to getting acquainted with all of the great people here.
