    Waterman No 52 Bchr Accommodation Clip

    I found a really nice 52 with an accommodation clip. The pen has small holes in cap where an attached clip used to be. Clip is made by Argus MFG CO Chicago ILL USA PAT FEB 21 1922 and ROYAL is on the very top of the clip. When I first saw the pen with the clip, I thought it had to be a 55 or 56 as it makes the pen look bigger. Pen is in such fantastic shape that its a keeper either way but Is this a generic clip made for any number of different makes of pens? And does it detract from the value of the pen given it used to have a clip? Thanks!
