Susemai Van Gogh Colour Plate Experimenent

Dear FPN Friends The Great Amberlea our Queen of Inks was so kind to invite me to join the Susmai ink tests. Thank you Amberlea. Those Susemai inks are quite something ... Some Inks I really love. Before testing them extensively I thought let's do an experiment. I am a lousy Artist but funnily there are colouring plates for adult nowadays. I Picked a picture from Van Gogh and started coulouring it using Van Gogh's pointilism technique.... Those Inks are excellent. The colours are not like the ones n the original Van Gogh of Course. The Black Cat.... Truly BLACK and highly saturated:dilluted massively one can make the mst beautiful shades of grey with it (see the Kerbs). High Saturation means a lot of pigment articeles. So My advise clean yur pen regularly. The Green Diamond Bright vivid Green (used in the Trees) This colour makes a gloomyday HappyGreen C.... This Green I prefer for writing very nice dark antique greenBlack Diamond... I went to the Eye Doctor I Am afrad I went Colour Blind Believe there was a false label on the test tube. Very intense colour, but to pink for my personal tasteRed Cashmere... Case of wrong Label again.... But a lovely Bleu grey.... Want to have that Blue Diamond.... What a lovely vivid Blue reminds me a bitof the famous Santorini roofs. Very intense blue when not dillutedTS Red... Shear beauty.... Not too bright but a very nice warm red... Must have that!!! This is the back side.... Showthrough is quite strong (even dilluted): Pens used. Lamy Joy Italic 1,5 Nib. Swab for the kerbs. on normal copying paper... Well concerning the pens and the paper used that is no wonder I guess.... The Lamy is wet as the ocean on a rainy day... and wiht the amount of inks used one vould flood the Sahara Very impressing stuff that Susemai.... Love it Thanks again Amberlea.... I will test them more extensively soon.... Please tell methe Brand and the ink names.... I will rob a bank if needed to obtain some I enjoyed the colouring... Female say Men never grew up.... they are right ... It was fun to do and I got the hang of it... Must try a mandala with inks too Regards Peter
