It could be monitor differences as well. I just picked up a new scanner and it seems to match colors pretty well. On my monitor the color matches what the original looks like though.

Could be pen as well. A finer nibbed pen is most always going to make an ink lighter. The eversharp used in this review is a pretty wet writer with a medium flex nib, so that could account for the difference in color.

Interesting. The Q-tip swatch looks like what I wore on a daily basis for 5 years, but I can't, for the life of me, figure out why anyone would want to write with it! OTOH I like Waterman Purple.

Good review, thank you for sharing.

A friend lent me a converter or two of this ink about a year ago. While I enjoy the hue, it's just not a color I see using every day. Though I remember it as much lighter, this scan makes me wonder if there are any comparisons of this ink to MB Racing Green?

Interesting, Army Green looks a lot lighter in my pens that on your scan.

+1

Mine looks like the q-tip swipe.

But - that is the cool thing about Noodlers - the ink changes depending on the pen. this looks like a wet writer.

Mine too. This is *not* one of those almost-black colors.
