Cartier Pasha

Ive owned this pen for approximately 1 week now and can safely say that this pen is one of the most amazing writing instruments Ive ever used.

This is a heavier pen weighing approximately 56.2grams. The length of the pen capped is 5 5/8", uncapped it is 5 1/4". I don't post my pens for fear of scratching and because it throws off the balance of the pen(in my humble opinion). This particular pen does not feel good when it is posted as it becomes top heavy. Mine is the platinum plated version and it looks great; that is if you like the look of precious metals. It has this great guilloche pattern in the metal that you should be able to see in at least one of the photos. The way the cap feels when it is being screwed onto or off of the pen is very smooth and is quite secure feeling. The section feels great in my hand and after writing for over an hour I felt very little hand fatigue. Overall I would have to say that this pen trumps my Waterman Exception and my MB 149. It is my holy grail pen. I still can't believe just how smooth this nib is. The nib is stiff and does not really have any flex to it; it does give some line variation when pushing a little bit harder though. It is everything I hoped it would be and more.

 

Nib Functionality- 5/5 This pen has the smoothest nib of my three pens and by far. There is no tooth what so ever and it always starts up right away.

Nib Easthetics- 5/5 This nib looks great IMHO. I actually like the look of this nib over the 149 nib (subject to personal opinion).

Flow- 5/5 Always starts up right away. Never any hesitation or skipping with this baby.

Filling System- 3/5 This pen is a cartridge/converter filler. I would have prefered a piston filler on a $760 pen, but whatever.

Cost- 4/5 It is an expensive pen and as another reviewer stated "You are paying for jewelry at some level". It was worth it though.

P.S. I should add that these photo's do not do this pen justice. The photos have bad lighting and the nib has nib creep due to a custom noodlers mix in the pen (you can see the ink recipe in the backround).

Very nice review and wonderful pictures.

This is a lovely pen and is really nice for a non Mont Blanc pen .
