Pelikan GO

Received the two Pelikan GO's that I got for $20 each...

I was expecting two turquoise one and I got one turquoise and one hot pink...

Guess what little 7 yr old girl got the pink one for an early birthday present.

Well let's get down to the one I kept... all I can say is I LOVE IT!!!!!!! Now this is my first Pelikan and my first piston filler... I really like the way it fills and the amount of ink it holds... If this inexpensive GO is the way Pelikan does things, it will not be my last Pelikan....

The nib is a medium and it writes beautifully... I was very surprised at how smooth it lays down a line... not too wet that it did not dry nicely with the PR Avacado that I have in it...

I only have one problem... and that is what color ink do you recommend to match the clip and chevrons on the pen... it is called turquoise, but it is not a bright color and I can see a green cast to it...

BTW, my daughter opted for PR Shell Pink (thanks again Dillo) and loves the way her pen writes....

Thanks Tom,

Now I really can't wait until mine shows up. I wonder what color I'll get?

It really is a great pen. Not only is it inexpensive but it can take a beating too. I've dropped mine twice ... once from 5 feet onto tile flooring and once from 3 feet onto carpet and it still works just as new!

Best regards,

nice pen old griz! i love pelikan. waterman south seas blue may be the ticket. although it's more of a turquoise color, the flow is excellent, and it dries rather quickly.

Yep, a great pen...and it's a piston-filler, too!

I have one in turquoise and one in pink---great value for the money. They do turn up on eBay or the pen boards once in a while.

Thanks very much for the review and photograph, Tom (OldGriz) :)

Hi,

It is a really reallynice pen, but sadly I can't use it. :(

Before I start using piston fillers full time, I would have to get a Green Stripe M300.
