So I'm doing the daily stroll through ebay listings when I come across this:

Crazy ebay ad

Text states, "THIS IS A FACTORY ITEM NOT PUT TOGETHER WITH ODD PARTS."

Ok, I see. And someone said pen collectors were nuts. :o

Best-

Yup. The cord and in-line switch are definitely genuine '30's materials...

If I'm not mistaken, the plug is polarized... <_<

  And the seller lives on Canada's west coast, like I do! Crazy BC Ebayers.....

So are you going to add this to your already-vast Esterbrook collection, as an oddity, Brian?  :P

If you're close Maja can you put a stop to this insanity, Please? ;)

Well, lemme see, is there room for another desk set? Gee, sorry, No room at the inn. :)

The seller revised the description and it no longer states it's from the factory. You're not going to bid on it?!

Sounds like more than a couple people want to see this thing in person. I actually vaguely recall seeing something like this (perhaps it WAS this one) at auction before. Being the nice guy that I am, I'm stepping away from the bidding and letting others take over if they want. I already have 16 or so dip-less sets, I think I can live without another. :)
