A $17.00 Duke Shark......

For $17.00 this is a superior pen in all ways. It is large and feels great in my paw. The nib started out OK but improved with use.

 

I ain't no writer so excuse the short review. Just plain impresses me.

 

Oh yea, this is the largest of the 4 Sharks.

Thanks for your reviews of the Duke Shark pen. You mentioned that it was the "largest of the 4 Sharks". By that, did you mean it's bigger than the, say, Nettuno Shark fountain pen? (Late edit: Please ignore the question. I hadn't realized it before, but some of the 4 Duke 'Mako' (Shark) models are different sizes! It's only when I looked at a picture of them all together here that I clued in )

I just received one of these from Isellpens.com, and I agree with you on all counts. It's weight surprised me, but it is remarkably well balanced (without cap posted). I am certainly pleased at the quality of pen I received at this price!

Yes, it is an amazing pen for the price. I have the 2nd biggest also and I am thinking about the other 2. Enjoy, makes for good pen day.

I have been fighting the urge to expand my small collection for some time now, and I must say that I have failed. I just ordered this pen and a handful of Heros from iSellPens. I will share my impressions when they arrive.

I received this pen and have been using it for several days now. I think it is gorgeous. It is smooth and writes a fairly wet line. My only complaint is that it is not a quick starter. I have to scribble for a few seconds before the ink starts flowing.

 

Once I get it going, though, I could write all day with it. For the bragain price of around $17, it is real deal and I highly recommend it.
