I am trimming my "buy-every-fountain-pen-in-the-world-binge"; these are the first, there will be more.

 

#1- Platinum 70s Fountain Pen 18K Fine-Flex Nib, with Sticker: this is an elegant "pocket size" fountain pen in classic black and gold from Platinum, Japan's high class pen maker. This pen was introduced in 1970 and had the model number PKB-2000. The nib is a Fine Flexible point. The kanji characters for fine flexible (HOSO-NAN) are imprinted on the nib. This pen was intended for the Japanese market. Although it is not vintage flex, you can get some subtle line variation with this pen.

I bought this as New Old Stock- and have put less than one cartridge through it. This is a cartridge pen- there are ways to make a converter for it- I haven't had the time.

It's beautiful- some of the above text copied from Russ Stutler's web site, I bought the pen from him.

#2 Pilot Elite, Same style as Platinum above- Fine nib with a little flex, this one has a Pilot aeromatic squeeze converter. In great shape- great writer. Still has sticker on it.

#3 Platinum Dead Stock SOLD

Very nice Platinum discontinued model (I'm not sure of #) Comes with converter. Still with sticker, less than one cartridge- Japenese Medium nib. Nice line, writes very smoothly! Beautiful brushed steel body, black clip. I'll miss this one....

 

#4 Platinum Stealth SOLD (all black) One Medium nib Platinum PTR-5000B with box, cartridge and converter- Nice pen all black, even the nib. Nice line comes out of this one, less than one cartridge used. email for pix... I'll try to get them up here....
