I have the exact same pen. Nib's on the harder side but writes buttery smooth fresh out of the box! Produces a bit thinner lines than usual European pens.

Great capacity for writing pages after pages, too. Looks heavy but actually okay for my hand and well-balanced.

Thank you. I have several Carenes, all either Fine or Stub; Carene is the best amongst modern Waterman pens in my subjective opinion. And yes, it's rightly priced for a quick sale.
