Pilot Pen Station Part 1

I visited Pilot Pen Station, that is Pilot pen museum, at Kyobashi near Ginza in Tokyo the other day. I had

some questions about Pilot Con-70. I asked a staff of customer service there about them. He said to me that

he would answer the question later after investigation and he gave his card to me. I was very surprised. He

was a director of Pilot Corporation. Is this ideology of “customer first!”? I posted the answer here.

By the way, I took some photographs of the station. I will be happy if you enjoy them.

The head office of Pilot is also here.

Wonderful! Thank you so much for this contribution of Pilot Pen Station photos, rokurinpapa. I especially like that staircase. It really gives an almost "holy" feeling about the place. :D

You don't happen to have a photo of a cutaway of the faceted VP (FCN-500R?), do you? I'm wondering how (or whether) the front end comes apart.

Sorry. I do not have the picture.Perhaps there was no cutaway model of FCN-500R in the Station.

  • 13 years later...

It's so terribly unfortunate that all of the images were hosted on Photobucket... which betrayed so many subscribers by killing the free option and then invalidating links to photos. Initially they had just put a forced watermark over photos, which while annoying at least allowed a fair opportunity to see what was being shared. But that's all done now.

rokurinpapa did post a few months ago, so I'm hopeful that perhaps they can add the old images again, but under something else more trustworthy like Imgur.
