A few folks had asked to see what this looked like, so here's a quick writing sample. Full review to follow when I get time.

Glad you like it, and thanks for the sample.

To get a sense of your writing size, how many mm are between the lines?

Lovely lovely lovely nib! I really like your handwriting! How long turnaround time does Greg Minuskin have?

Very nice! I've not had the pleasure of a B CI, but I currently have a BB with a stubbish feel that's hard to put down! And to think, at one time I was trying to go for XF nibs!

I'll take an Aurora, please. Aurora black.

What is the difference between a regular MB Bold nib and a Bold CI (custom ground)? I thought that the MB Bold nib was a CI nib.

I believe his turnaround is typically in the two-week range.

As I understand it, the Montblanc broad nibs have a fair amount of line variation to them, but this one has been cut to have a bit more. My handwriting may not have displayed that for one reason or another. Might have been the scan, too. My scanner is good, but I wouldn't call it outstanding.

I've gotta chime in on Greg Minuskin's work!

He did the Crisp Italic on my 146 that I recently purchased. Started off with a medium nib and now it is super expressive...it started off with a 14k nib and ended up kind of flexy.

I feel that the MB 146 is the perfect everyday pen.....this one is pretty much always with me: filled with Galileo Manuscript Brown!

Another fan here. Greg has not only ground nibs, but added tipping and then ground to CI or stub as required. For example, a couple of years ago I came across a real deal on an Omas Arco paragon (old style), but it had an xf nib. Bought it, had Greg add iridium, and grind to a nice stub. Still came out waaaaay less than the going price for Arcos. Greg's e-mail announcing the pen was done included some photos of the nib and writing samples. Very fast turnaround.
