David Broadwell sterling sceptre

This year, David Broadwell has made a sterling sceptre pen for me, customized to my requests. I have written a review, see below. The writing sample came with the pen, to illustrate the quality of the nib. A great pen, made by a great artisan. During the production of the pen, David kindly sent me some pictures, these can be found on my website (click on the pictures for larger ones). Ruud

Hi Ruud!

Congratulations on your new Broadwell custom pen - it is indeed a beauty! I hope you continue to enjoy it - and you'll find that as you use it the nib will settle in even more - not that it isn't perfect for you now - I wish you many many years of fun and perfect writing!!!

Each day is the start of the rest of your life!

Make it count!!!

Gorgeous! It would be problematic for me as I hold a pen about where the flare is on the body, but for those who grip the section, it wouldn't be a problem. Yummy design

What a gorgeous artful masterpiece... I'd be afraid to use it! :)

That clip is so bold looking... like a sword hanging off a knight's belt. And the matte sterling silver mated to the brown celluloid is simply stunning. I'd affix this on a lighted wall display and just admire it for its rugged artistic looks.

I'm reticent to even look at Broadwell's website, as I know the costs will be far beyond what I'd spend on a pen. I'm glad we've got you around, Ruud... so we can live vicariously through you. ;)

Really unusual and beautiful design.

You are mighty lucky it is not a blue pen, there would be a cat burglar prowling your neighborhood. ;)

Congratulations on the new pen and thank you for sharing the pictures of your pen and handwriting.

Is it fair for an intelligent and family oriented mammal to be separated from his/her family and spend his/her life starved in a concrete jail?

That is one beautiful pen. May it bring you many years of

enjoyment and many days of letter writing.

Truly a piece of art. How much did you pay?

=)

The sword is mightier than the pen. However, swords are now obsolete whereas pens are not.
