Nice review. I got some Omas cartridges with the Omas Milord i got recently from this board. I must say i like it. It's a nice standard blue.

You say SOME shading. Looks like a LOT of shading on your sample.

I am impressed with the Omas black. Based on this review, I'll have to get some blue as well. I like the deeper blue colors rather than the blue/blacks. This ink seems to deliver that.

I haven't yet found Omas discounted. I've found Platinum, and Private Reserve for about $3.00-$3.50 if I shop around. I tend to order the ink when I order a pen or something else. That can give me free shipping on the ink.

Private reserve for $3.5? Where? I, like you, buy ink when I buy pens. Or buy ink when I don't think I need a new pen.

Nice review, although some of us are, I'm sure, dying to know what happened to make it so messy. :)

In my search for a good blue that doesn't come off the page onto my hands too easily, this one is about at the top.

Now if someone could only make a bulletproof blue in this shade, I think my quest would be over.

Probably ink experiments...
