Which Noodler's Ink is closest to Waterman Florida Blue?

I've been using Waterman Florida Blue as my main ink for quite some time now, but I'm using Noodler's for all my other colors of ink. Since most colors of Noodler's are mixable, I'm looking to convert over to all-Noodler's for ensured compatibility for mixing, so I'm curious if any of the blue shades if Noodler's are comparable to Waterman Florida Blue.

Thanks in advance

None, really. But you could probably mix up something similar. Have you seen this marvelous post from limner?

I've used his formulas as the basis for a lot of the mixing I do for my own use and amusement, to excellent effect.

I'm not any help on the color matching and understand a desire for economy of $ and bottles of ink. However... because I have some vintage pens I have the eight bottles of Waterman ink for use in those pens, mixed or not (also have the same in Sheaffer but that's my obsession). Love Noodlers inks and have many bottles, three more in the mail. Mostly I use them straight or slightly diluted and I'm happy with them in my newer/inexpensive/replaceable pens. I've never had any ! problem with Noodlers and know many use in their vintage pens, but I take a more careful road with any brand of saturated ink.

Waterman Fla Blue or Purple are two inks many use if a pen is being fussy. It will often help finish cleaning out an older pen. If used in a newer pen will let you know if the pen has problems... as the ink will work well with anything, you'll know the problem is the pen, not the ink.

Let us know if you make some great mixes.

Definitely. I'd start with Noodler's standard Blue and add The Violet Vote (formerly Iraqi Indigo), sold only by Pendemonium, to taste. Here, for example, is a 2:1 mix (a/k/a "Viseguy's Mystery Blue"). (The violet adds good water resistance, by the way.)

Try Noodler's Upper Ganges Blue, which is a bulletproof ink: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/in...showtopic=66969

I bought this because I wanted something more vibrant than W/M Florida Blue. The patch I'd seen on a website looked like it fitted the bill, but once I tried the ink it looked very similar to W/M FB ink.
