Polishing and buffing

Following up on a VERY fruitful discussion on buffing, I ventured forth into Googleland and came across some good additional info: Caswell Electroplating in Miniature has a very decent primer for polishing and buffing. It looks like it's worth perusing.

Thanks to all who have contributed their cogent thoughts and experiences on the topic. Nail polisher kit, flannel and muslin wheels and proper rouges and buffing materials are on their way. I will report my novice experiences to the readership. ;-)

At the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve, after I kiss my wife, I will raise a glass of champagne in the honor and to the good health of all my newly-found friends on FPN.

I'd like to wish you, your wife and yours, and not to forget all of our friends here on FPN, a very good 2006 too! May 2006 be your best year ever so far!

I hate, to say it, but the link seems invalid at the moment. If you could post an updated link, that would be great!!!
