6, Making A Wahl-Eversharp Nib

Recommended Posts

Again for the Wahl-Eversharp collectors out there, here's a picture of the process of and machinery for making a Wahl-Eversharp nib, patent no. 1,867,932. A lot of machinery is illustrated in the 42-page specification, and there's lots of reading there. Curiously, even though John Wahl is listed as a co-inventor in the patent, and it's assigned to the Wahl Co., the nibs in the illustrations are marked "Warranted".

Anyone else have any other favorite nibmaking pics?

George Kovalenko.
