Reposted: Chatterley Pens The Romulus

Recommended Posts

Up for sale are my commissioned Chatterley Limited Edition Fountain pens from Bexley. The Romulus is is a Limited Edition Pen of 24.

Romulus in Italian Mythology was known to be the first King of Rome.

Each Fountain Pen comes with numbered box and card. These made of high quality acrylics and fitted with Bexley's ridiculously smooth 18K Gold nibs. The filling systems are CC/Converter. The pictures really don't explain the detail and depth of the acrylics, but I tried to capture it... They Measure 5 inches Capped and 7 posted. Every pen has its own unique design, and if you want any particular pictures of a certain pen, shoot me an email

I have sold almost half of the pens in the week that I have had them, and I want to thank everyone here who purchased them. I appreciate it.

It seems though, the most popular nibs are Fine and Stub. With only one purchase of a Medium (My boss, so it really does not count :)) and no Broad. Because of this I have decided to discount both of these until I have sold at least two of either/or size. I do want to say that, since I did sell one to my boss, I was able to use the Medium and it was super smooth and not to thick as a lot of Medium can run.

The price per pen is $265 + shipping at cost for fine and Stub sizes, but for Medium and Broad the price is $245 until I sell at least two of either.

PM me or you can email me at... Chatterley Pens

Also, remember that I am just a pen collector, so I may be up for trades, I obviously could not do that on all or even most of them, as I do need to get some of my investment back, but I am not opposed to offers...

Here are the numbers I have left

5,9,11,12,16,17,20,21,23,24

7 and 18 on hold

I have all four nib sizes left- Fine, Medium, Broad and Stub

Enjoy and Cheers!

Don't tempt me with that reduction in price on the broad nib. The last picture with the pen in the box is a more accurate depiction of the pen, and there is a great picture of my stub nib.

I absolutely love your pen pictures, especially the one with the circular arrangement of the nibs!

Great pens! I hope they sell fast. If I weren't on an enforced pen buying stop, I'd take one, too. Good luck with the sale!

Thank you very much.

Enforced pen buying stop... I could use one of those, or maybe even two! :headsmack:

whoa, great pictures! one question: do you know what the capacity of the converter is?

I have a predilection towards preponderously sized nibs and I refuse to prevaricate

You know, I don't. I really would not know how to measure it either. The converters looks like a basic one though. Sorry I couldn't be more help with this one...

I keep seeing this pen on your sig line .. & take my hat off to you on the commission ... but can't figure out the diameter of section or barrel .. it looks so hefty, but I may be doing the pen an injustice .. any clues on the size? .. ie length posted, unposted, capped / diam of cap, diam of barrel, diam of section / weight etc ?

As regards the query on the convertor capacity just fill her up with a syringe with a scale reading & don't forget to keep count :)

It's a Poseidon body. Info from Richardspens.com:

Length Posted

Length Capped

Length Uncapped

Barrel Length

Barrel Diameter

Weight

6-11/16"

5-7/32"

4-27/32"

3-15/16"

0.51 / 0.54"

0.78 oz (22.1 g)

Oh well, this implementation doesn't do bbcode. I think you can figure it out, though.

Here are some specs...

They are 13cm capped and 17.5cm posted from nib to top of cap.

The cap itself is 7cm

The body itself is a little over 12cm from nib to end and from shoulders to end is about 10cm making the nib a little over 2cm.

The cap is 1 1/2 cm at the bottom (Where its the largest, but the cap does not taper that much.)

The barrel is about 45MM around on the largest part and 40 on the smaller part where it tapers.

Hope this helps...

Cheers!
