How much is Cross Century 2 fountain pen in your country?

I wanted to buy Century 2 FP for about six months but couldn't coz of the unbelivable price here in Melbourne Australia.

I went to a well known (one of the biggest) pen store in Melbourne CBD and asked them for classic black century 2 and gold 10K.

Classic Black was priced 150 AUS dollar (117 US, 60 Pound, 89 Euro)

Gold 10K was priced 240 AUS dollar (190 US, 470 Pound, 360 Euro).

I think this price is somewhat too expensive.

From Ebay and other websites, the prices was 60% of what I was offered.

The shop didn't have royal blue ruby or blush... (stainless nib), only had two models.

How much do they cost in ur country?

Has anyone used stainless nib century 2 fountain pen before?

Try the following URL for The Pen Shop here in the UK.

The link should take you to the Cross fountain pen pages

These prices are probably quite near to manufacturers recommended price so you might well be able to find them online with a cheaper price.

I posted this in the general forum on the 8th of December

I don't know if these are good deals or not but the Home Goods in Nashua, NH, carry the Cross ATX for $16.99 and the Cross Century II for $24.99. (Tax free New Hampshire) "

Off the top of my head Penhero and Swisher sell them, you can check their current web site prices. Jewelers tend to carry them at suggested list price as given on the A.T. Cross site.

I have the Black gold trimmed with a steel Fine nib. I purchased it used from an FPN'r and I really enjoy the pen. It is one that I have kept inked since the day it arrived.

YMMV
