Which Ragtime model?

Can someone help me identify which Ragtime model I have? It looks similar to the original Ragtime (domed cap) in the Visconti Museum, but the clip doesn't look right. Also, what would be the material of construction?

Thanks,

Karen

It's an original Ragtime, aka Ragtime I, because of the rounded caps. It's made of antique celluloid.

The furniture of the Ragtime Is varies -- probably changed over their production.

What you see in the museum is probably the first clip, with a V-shape and a ball at the end. Yours has the S-shaped clip, which was also used on almost all later Ragtimes (Seasons, Ragtime II (New Ragtime), Federico II, Ragtime III (Ragtime Black & Medici), and 20th Anniversary). The exception is the Caravels.

There are also two versions of the cap bands: the thinner one like yours (and that you see in the Museum) and a wider curved one (that you can see on the Seasons in Museum).

I have 3 furniture versions of Ragtimes Is: V-shape clip with thin cap band, S-shaped clip with thin cap band (like yours), and S-shaped clip with wide cap band.

Congratulations. What kind of nib?

This one has an 14k medium nib.

Thanks for the info.
