Anyone familiar with this pen from Pilot? It's called the Celemo and has a 14ct nib. I did not see a review on it and a word search in this Forum came up dry.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards,

Tony

Search on "Ceremo" yields some info. Japanese get r's and l's leversed very often if you know what I mean. Looks like a nice pen -- long nib. I bet it has some spring to it.

Found an old Yahoo Japan auction with some more pictures. It reminds me a lot of the Elite in terms of trim, etc.

The katakana version is セレモ

You might try that together with "Pilot", if you can read Japanese or are willing to play with Babelfish.

Thanks, I like the look of the long nib!!

Gold nib, too - the nib markings are "14K 585 <F>".

Thanks all I was able to visit some of the sites and piece together information on the "Young King" as the pen is also called. I think it will be a welcome addition to my stash and will surely be in high rotation. Gotta love those Pilot nibs. VP is like entry level drugs, gets you addicted ;-0

Actually the Pilot Knight gets you in at a cut rate price ;-)

Where'd you pick it up, out of curiosity?

As for Pilots, I have four (VP, Bamboo, Crystal, Elite) currently myself and want more... I think a Custom 823 or 845 is the next thing on my hit list. :)

Just lucked into it on Ebay. I was bidding on something else and clicked on either view other items or similar items and the Celemo was one of the photos that came up. I was interested because I had never seen the model let alone heard of it before. So I guess I will give it try and review it here. I hope it doesn't suck as I really like the three Pilots I have (Knight, VP, and 78G B the only big nib I actually like ;-0 )

Oop, five Pilots - I actually have a 78G too.

Looking forward to your review!

The nib is very much like the nib on the VP. This is one sweet writing pen. Gotta post some samples.
