What can I even say that I didn't cover above? I love this ink. It's far and away my favorite blue. Suuuper complex and slate-y and smokey. It's awesome.

Jetpens translates the name as "Night Sky," which sounds about right to me. Then they call it a greenish deep blue.

Sorry guys, there's no green here, sez me.

I love it, and can't wait to try it with a flexible nib.

edit to add: Immoteus and Celeste have also done very fine reviews of this ink.

I just picked up a bottle of this myself and my experience has been much like yours. I just love this ink! I've only used it on M and F nibs, so I'm glad to see how it reacts to more B style nib/stub!

The more accurate translation would be "Moon Night," instead of "Night Sky"-- that would be "Yoru Sora" and not "Tsuki Yo." I'm looking forward to getting more from this line. Thanks for the great review!

Actually, although the characters would be read that way individually, the compound contracts down to "yozora"… But in any case, I'm going to buy a bottle of it just for the name, & the fact that it's such a nice ink (received a writing sample written partly with it) will make me happy about doing so.

Looks good. When I run out of Waterman BB, this is probably what I'm gonna re-up with (thanks in no small part to this review).

Great review and writing samples. I just ordered this gorgeous ink from Jetpens. Where can I get a stub nib suitable for a newbie, & that doesn't cost a fortune? I want to be able to print like that. I almost always print....

Tortoise, why not try a Pilot 78G with a broad or a double broad nib? Those are stubs... And cheap at $9.8 + shipping from winningpen (no affiliation, just a satisfied customer)

Sounds great. At that price, I can't lose. Thanks!
