On my monitor it looks like a lot like a cobalt blue, would you say that's about right in person or is it a bit darker?

Thanks for the review.

I Hear you with the scan, I think that is more the scanner I am using than your monitor. Though come to think about it, my sample above looks relatively close to the sample on the Diamine site but not what it looks like on the page. I like how it looks on the page. All I can say it's not quite as blue as this.

To answer jmw19's question, it drys reasonably quick, I am a left handed overwriter and I don't have stains on my fingers:).

Nice review Bill. Diamine Prussian Blue is my daily ink at work - always have one pen in my rotation drinking this.

Mine appears much lighter than what is pictured, also much more gray than blue.

I agree -- Prussian blue (in my experience) is much greyer than the scan appears. Similar to Lamy Blue-black.

This is true for me as well. Did they change the formula?

Mine looks like a grayer version Diamine Blue-Black and quite faded.

I think it's my scanner and I plan to replace it at some point when funds allow. I got my eye on an Epson V700 flatbed (photography is as big as pen collecting for me) which I'll get when my Dell goes to computer heaven.

I concur Prussian blue has a nice grey-green undertone.

Thanks very much for your review. It helps to see a page of it.

May you have pens you enjoy, with plenty of paper and ink. :)
