J. Herbin Lie De Tié Vs Sailor Ishida Bungu Hakodate Gagome

The way the Mac's iPhoto adjusted the pictures for my review of the Sailor Ishida bungu ink Hakodate gagome, someone thought it was similar to the J. Herbin Lie de Tié. Nothing could be further from the truth. But that's the way iPhones and computers are not really able to maintain color accurately across devices. Kind of unfortunate, but the way it is.

Here are the images. This first one shows the J. Herbin ink as a bit greener than it is.

The right side of the following image is a little darker than it should be.

And now close-ups. These definitely show one is brown, the other green.

Great comparison!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Thanks white lotus. They are both very interesting inks and look great together. Somewhat weirdly they make me think of World War 2 Army camouflage.
