Inknix - Out Of Business?

Does anyone know whether InkNix has gone out of business? I Googled the web site this morning and got an "Account Suspended" notice.

The last time I bought some was this May, at Anderson Pens, in Appleton, Wisconsin, and Lisa Anderson told me that the company was family-owned. I've been rooting for them for that reason, and hope nothing unfortunate has happened to the company.

Any intelligence gratefully appreciated.

Please dont quote me on this, but, I heard from a pen collector friend that he heard from someone in the know, at the Ohio Pen Show of 2014, that Ink-Nix was going out of business. It is a wonderful product, and I am sorry that it will no longer be available.

The owner of ink nix has told us the product will no longer be distributed. While we have tried and tried to get them to make us one last batch, or possibly transfer ownership but we have not been able to get them to pick up the phone. Rumor has it this is a product which they just re-package, but cannot confirm that either.

Yikes!

I'm glad I got a fairly large container of it then. And that I don't use a lot at a time....

THIS IS TERRIBLE NEWS.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I have both InkNIX and GoJo, using both to get ink stains off of my hands. I'll give a slight edge to InkNIX for cleaning off ink, but the GoJo works quite well for the purpose. I'll give a long advantage to the pricing on GoJo over InkNIX, however.

In addition, I had purchased the "Natural Orange Pumice Hand Cleaner" version of GoJo, so it smells a lot nicer... :cloud9:

What a pity. It is definitely a good product.

This had roots going back to the Ozburn-Janesville company, Parker Pen Company and even further back. It was trademarked by Ozburn-Janesville in 1972, expired in 2003; trademark serial #72380724. It's class is "Detergents and Soaps" and first use and commerce dates are July 25, 1966. The case file owner history goes back from Parker Pen as the "original applicant", Ozburn-Janesville as the "owner at registration" and Janesville Group LTD as an unknown party before that. There seems to be history here but it's current destiny appears unknown.
