Hi !

Last weekend, starting a new inventory for a address change, I ve managed to find a lost pen my late father has bought possibly in US in late 60's. Never used, genuine , kept on original case for the last 40 years, in excelente contidion, never used, except for the flock portion, it contains still the certificate, ink replacable bulk, information and instructions. And the tag price original. All papers in excelente condition.

I personally do not collect pens but I believe this one must have some hitorical, collecting worthing I also can only guesss it s a late 60's or early 70's as how he often traveled to work to NY.

I would like some help about the identification and an estimate actual value, considering the whole box and pen package .

Maybe that ;s a 'one of a kind' cases, or not.

Thank you very much any inputs and time to answer.

That's a beauty and a nice early example. My guess would be 1966 judging by the style of box with the plastic wallet, as far as I know these were only seen in the first 2-3 years of production of the Parker 75. Take a look inside the box lid and see if there's a date stamped inside the rim. There is a small possibility it's earlier and has a metal threaded section (black plastic grip/nib holder) but from some of the details I can see I think it's slightly later with plastic threads. If it does have the metal threads then it's worth considerably more.

Nice find!! :)

Thank you very much these inputs and messages...., ceejaybee, there is no number anywhere on the box...the other detais I can not 'see' no distintion beetween plastic or metal, cause it s black brilliant....anyway, thank you very much all messages. The 'keeper' sems to be the model, if I understood. I would guess it was bought in '68 or '72, when we are sure my father took some time travelling across east cost...I wonder if any info can be match through the certificate number period.

All the best.

Thank you for the tip, Idazle. The number of details related to the release date are very accurate. For someone who has difficult indeed to make 'show up' properly the pen avoiding risks to broke or force any small part , it's a knowledge base having these informations.
