Black Batch A = Black Amber

Black Batch B = Black Balled

Black Batch C = Black Cat

Black Batch D = Black Diamond

Green

Green Batch C = Green Cashmere

Green Batch D = Green Diamond

Red

Red Batch C = Red Cashmere

Red Batch D = Red Diamond

WOW.... I am still waiting on my Black Diamond... I am glad that it is similar to Black Balled... my favorite black (and I don't even like Blacks)

Not sure why this thread is so quiet, am I in the right place with this? I have some scans of Black diamond at 16 and 8%.

Here goes.

At 16% it had some startup issues, drying up fairly quickly. Flow was variable, sometimes very good once started, other times skippy.

Feathering, bleeding or ghosting were not observed. However - it's a nice dark ink - but is it BLACK?

 

I have the same question at 8%.

Startup and flow are slightly better at this dilution, but the issues are still there. No feathering etc.

Also, I see some subtle shading, but no sheen.

 

Looking at my scans here, I'd say it's purple. And yes, I want it. A wonderful color and I think I can get it to behave better.

I don't think it's blue under daylight. But there may be some blue underneath it all. I think it's purple.

And I did get Blue Amber, Blue Balls, Blue Cashmere, and Blue Diamond. Those are all different.

If it's not Black Diamond, I'm really curious as to what it actually is...
