oops sorry that was copper based azurite, lapis is aluminum..... but the color.... the color.... that's how Yves Klein went nuts....

I just received a #13 written sample in the mail and I fooled around with some inks to compare. It's pretty purple, closer to Sailor Ultramarine than to the usual blue-purplish inks. If you have Tanzanite or Imperial Blue at hand it would be worth comparing.
