Renee of Scriptorium Pens is making me a fountain pen. I'm going to post photos of the process. This is a picture of the raw materials. The buzz is she's going to start the pen tomorrow. Excitement! HERE WE GO!

I know there are other women making kit pens, as I've seen them post on IAP, but I don't know about any others making custom kitless pens. That doesn't mean they aren't out there, just that I don't know of them.

It is nice to see something being hand crafted. I think things made using nothing but automation lack an essential something.
