Interesting to see Officeworks add Moleskin to their range. Shame they had to pick this overpriced rubbish. Let's hope Clairefontaine and Rhodia isn't too far away. Might even email their HQ and make the suggestion.

Might have to pick up one of the xsmall notebooks, if for nothing else, so can say that I have tried one.

 

Yep, hopefully Clairefontaine and Rhodia isn't too far away! :)

Clairefontaine and Rhodia are already in my local Officeworks, at Campbelltown, as well as Moleskine and Nu:Elite, along with the housebrands Ed, X and J.Burrows.

I should have taken a photo last time I was there.

 

It seems that along with re-furbishing (sort of) and re-arranging the shelves, they also re-furbished some of the product lines.

This is a great step forward for us Aussies. Officeworks now recognise there is a market for quality stationery, not just cheapest.

Just wait till the Parker Pen display has more than the rare Reflex...

They have Parker and Sheaffer FP inks online, just need to introduce them to the concept of the pens they go in...

They do have some Parker and Sheaffer bottled ink in store but not much variety. At least they are heading in the right direction.

Wandered into the Coburg Officeworks tonight. What a great feeling to see Rhodia and Clairefontaine on the shelves. Even had plenty of Lihit twist ring B5 notebooks ($4) and refills ($2).

I am discovering that some stores stock the B5 Lihit refills only, not the notebooks....

And some not at all!

True - I reckon once the refills are gone they will delete the line as they don't seem to be refilling. The refills are $9 from Jetpens so at $2 they are a bargain. If you have some notebooks stock up while you can. I bought about 20 packets and 8 notebooks on clearance at my local. 50c for the refills and $2 for the notebooks. Very lucky pick up. Hope they continue to stock them at the price but I doubt it. My local at Epping (Vic) has the notebooks but no refills (back to $4). Coburg and Broadmeadows have the refills ($2) but no notebooks.
