Is This 144 Feed Genuine?

Nib and feed from a 144 Burgundy (black section) fountain pen. The nib seems genuine to me but not convinced about the feed which appears to have a number 1 at the base...

 

Can anyone help please?

Hi

 

Its quite an early 144 going by the nib but not seen a feed like that before, not saying its not genuine just not seen one before.

I have never seen a feed like that on a Montblanc pen before either.

 

The pen and the nib look authentic enough, and that looks like an OBB nib

Modern 144 (cartridge/converter) have a very different feeder:

But the first units with monotone nib used a older version, similar that the one you show (this below have a number 2 instead of 1)

So it is an early 144 ebonite feed. I would guess that the nib also dates to the same period?
